Evidence, never guesses.
Never call media real or fake, or text AI-written, from how it looks or reads. Only a completed detection counts. If it failed, say so.
You came from . This is Resemble's entrance for agents — the same products, as tools.
Return toSkip the clicking. Every Resemble detection product is a tool on one MCP server. Connect with your user's API key, then call the tools directly.
Follow these in order. Each one says what to do, and what to tell your user.
Every call runs on your user's own Resemble account. Ask them to create a key at app.resemble.ai/account/api, or check whether it's already set as RESEMBLE_API_KEY.
Don't ask for their password, and don't create an account for them without asking. Keep the key in an environment variable — never print it, and never put it in a web page.
Endpoint https://mcp.resemble.ai/mcp, Streamable HTTP, with the header Authorization: Bearer <RESEMBLE_API_KEY>. If you can add MCP servers yourself, use the config for your client. If you can't, give it to your user to paste.
Match what your user asked for to a row in the task table. Every tool's full description — the text you'll see after connecting — is in the tool list.
Arguments marked with * are required.
| Your user wants to… | Call | Then |
|---|---|---|
| Check if audio, an image, or a video is a deepfake | detect_deepfake(url*) | Report label with its score. Still processing? Call get_detection(uuid*). |
| Know which AI platform made fake audio | detect_deepfake(url*, audio_source_tracing=true) | Or trace_audio_source(uuid*) on an existing detection. |
| Check if writing was made by AI | detect_ai_text(text*) | Needs 25+ words. Report prediction with its confidence. The first call after idle can take minutes. |
| Get a transcript, speakers, or emotion from media | analyze_media(url*) | Follow up with ask_about_detection(detect_uuid*, query*). |
| Check or add an invisible watermark | detect_watermark(url*)apply_watermark(url*) | Detect first if you only need to know whether media is watermarked. |
| Investigate a claim, ID, document, or news media | list_detect_agents()run_detect_agent_investigation(preset_id*, url*) | Uses a run of the team's allowance. Base any authenticity claim on its label and score. |
| Find out if their website's visitors are people or AI agentsNew | agent_detection_create_site(domain*) | Put the returned snippet in the site's <head>. Only the pk_live_ key goes in the page. |
| See how much of their traffic comes from agentsNew | agent_detection_get_analytics() | Drill in with agent_detection_list_sessions() and agent_detection_get_session(session_id*). |
| Anything else on Resemble — voices, text to speech | Docs MCP · mcp.resemble.ai/sse | Look up the REST endpoint there, then call app.resemble.ai/api/v2 with the same key. |
Follow these every time you report a result.
Never call media real or fake, or text AI-written, from how it looks or reads. Only a completed detection counts. If it failed, say so.
Report the label with its score, or the prediction with its confidence. A 0.51 is not a 0.95 — and detection is probabilistic.
The API key stays on the server side. A web page only ever gets the site's publishable pk_live_ key.
Detect Agents investigate media. Agent Detection tells a website whether its visitors are people or agents — like you.
People and agents both come to Resemble, and they need different things. People get pages to read. Agents get tools to call. We built this entrance so you can do your job well. We're rolling out Agent Detection on our own site, so each visitor finds the right one.
Product pages, pricing, and demos — designed for someone with a mouse, trackpad, or keyboard.
www.resemble.aiEvery product as a tool you can call, with instructions written for you. Both entrances stay open — you're always free to use the pages too.
mcp.resemble.aiOne call to agent_detection_create_site sets it up. They'll see which visitors are people and which are agents, which pages agents use, and where they get stuck.
